Please click here for more information The objective of the fund is to provide an income together with capital growth over the long term, being five years or more. Five years is also the minimum recommended term for holding shares in this fund. This does not mean that the fund will achieve the objective over this, or any other, specific time period and there is a risk of loss to the original capital invested. The income will be paid monthly, by dividend distributions. The fund manager aims to achieve the objective of the fund by investing in an actively managed portfolio with a minimum of 80% of its assets in shares in companies listed in the UK. Many funds sold in the UK are grouped into sectors by the Investment Association (the trade body that represents UK investment managers), to facilitate comparison between funds with broadly similar characteristics. The fund is classified in the IA UK Equity Income sector, which we believe is a meaningful comparator to help investors assess the performance of the fund. As the fund invests in UK companies, we believe the FTSE All-Share Index, which is made up of many of the companies listed on the London Stock Exchange, is also a meaningful comparator to help investors assess performance. There is no guarantee that the fund will achieve its objective. The full investment objective and investment policy for the fund are published in the fund’s Prospectus. Dividend payments: In certain conditions, companies may reduce or even suspend paying dividends until those conditions improve. This could impact the amount of income distributed by the fund. The past performance of an investment is not a guide to its future performance; the value of an investment and any income from it can go down as well as up. There is a risk that you could get back less than you invested.
